About The Lusadia High School – Education in Himatnagar
The Lusadia High School is over in Bhiloda, in the Sabarkantha district. It’s been sitting there for a long time. The building has that old style of architecture with thick walls and high ceilings. It stays relatively cool inside, even when the sun is beating down on the playground. We have some very old trees on the property that provide a lot of shade. The classrooms have big windows, though some of the latches are broken and they rattle when it’s windy. We don't have a lot of modern stuff. Most of our teaching is done with chalk and a board. The staffroom is a bit cluttered with old registers and stacks of homework waiting to be checked. We have a small library, but the books are quite aged. Bhiloda is a small place, so we see the same faces every day. The students are generally well-behaved, though they like to make a lot of noise during the breaks. We don't have a proper sports field, just a big open space where they play cricket with whatever they can find. It’s a very simple setup. We don't have a website that gets updated or anything fancy. We just open the gates in the morning and do our jobs. It’s a bit of a quiet life, but we are used to the routine of the school year. Sometimes we have to stay late for meetings, but mostly we are done by the afternoon.
