Sehat Pharma Pvt. Ltd. is located at Lala Estate, which is just outside the Mehtapura railway crossing in Savagadh. Being so close to the tracks, we hear the trains go by all day long. It’s a sound we don’t even notice anymore, though visitors usually find it a bit loud. The estate itself is a bit rugged, with unpaved sections that get a little muddy when it rains. We work in the pharmaceutical field, so inside our building, things are much more controlled than they are outside. We spend a lot of time on cleaning and making sure no dust gets into the wrong places. The staff is mostly local people from the Savagadh area. We don't have a big corporate structure; the person who manages the floor is usually the same person who helps load the boxes if we are short-handed. There’s an old clock on the wall that runs five minutes fast, but nobody bothers to fix it. We have a small kitchen area where we heat up our lunch. It’s a very plain environment with no decorations on the walls. Most of the day is spent checking batches and writing down numbers in big ledgers. It’s a quiet, hardworking atmosphere where everyone knows what their job is. We just keep our heads down and make sure the orders are ready on time for the transport company that stops by.
