We are over in Balkudra, which is part of the Patratu area in Hazaribagh. Specifically, we are at Khata No. 228 and Khewat No. 01. It is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the main city, but we like it out here. The air is a bit clearer and it is closer to some of our job sites. Vishnu Engicon is a name people in the local area recognize. We handle engineering and construction tasks. Our office is a practical building near the local station. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. If we need to find new work, it usually happens by word of mouth or someone seeing our signs on a site. Inside the office, it’s mostly computers and stacks of blueprints. We have been here for a while and have seen the area change. Patratu is developing, and we try to keep up with the changes. Some days the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait, but that’s just how it is sometimes. We focus on the engineering side and try to make sure our calculations are right. It is a steady job. We have a few locals working with us, and we all get along well enough. It’s just our way of making a living in Jharkhand. We spend our lunch breaks talking about the local news. It’s a quiet existence out here in Balkudra, but we prefer it that way.
