Starleak Infrastructure Private Limited is based in Singhrawan, which is part of the Chouparan area in Hazaribagh. We are located right by the post office, so we are easy to find. The surroundings are mostly quiet until the heavy machinery starts up. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the logistics of getting materials to Singhrawan and beyond. The Hazaribagh district has its own pace, and we try to stick to it. Our office is just a room with a few chairs and a lot of dust from the nearby road. We aren’t interested in making it look like a fancy hotel. Construction is dirty work, and our office reflects that. We are often out in the sun for hours, checking on the progress of various projects. Sometimes we have to deal with the local weather which can be quite unpredictable during the monsoon. We have a small team, and everyone knows everyone else’s business. We talk about the price of diesel and the quality of the latest batch of bricks more than anything else. It’s a practical life. We don’t have a lot of time for long speeches or complex plans. We just look at the site, figure out what’s needed, and start working. People around Barhi know our faces by now. It is a tough job sometimes, but we are used to the long hours and the heat.
