Rajendra Art & Craft Centre

We’ve been here at Rajendra Art & Craft Centre for quite a bit now. Our place is right on the Ranchi-Patna Road, pretty close to the Old Chek-Post. If you’re heading toward St. Kiran Girls School, you’ll likely see us. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic passing by, but that’s just how it is around here. We spend most of our days working on different pieces inside the workshop. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. Just a lot of wood, tools, and some paint lying around. People usually drop in when they’re looking for something specific for their homes. Sometimes the school kids walk past and peek through the door. We don't really do much advertising. Most folks just know we are here because they’ve lived in the neighborhood for years. The shop isn't huge, but it fits what we need. We usually start pretty early in the morning before the sun gets too high. By evening, the road gets busy and noisy. It’s a good spot though, right there where people travel between the two cities. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. Nothing too complicated about it. If you ever find yourself near the check-post, you can just look for the sign. We’re usually around unless it’s a holiday. It’s just us doing what we’ve always done on this stretch of road. We appreciate when neighbors stop by to chat.
