Janta Microcare Foundation

Janta Microcare Foundation operates out of Jaitwardih, care of Suraj Kesarwani. We’ve been using this location for a while now because it’s central to where we need to be. It’s not a large space, just enough for us to keep our things and have a spot to sit down and talk. We don't have any fancy signs or big logos on the wall. It’s just a plain room where we get together every morning to see what needs to be done. Working in Jaitwardih has its own set of challenges, like when the roads get muddy or when the power goes out in the middle of the day. We just deal with it as it comes. We aren't a big organization with lots of departments. It’s mostly just a few of us handling everything from the paperwork to the actual field work. We know most of the people around here, and they know where to find us if they need anything. We don't spend a lot of time on social media or advertising. Most of our work comes from people just talking to each other. We keep our overhead low so we can focus on the tasks at hand. It’s a very basic way of running things, but it’s how we’ve always done it. We just show up, do the work, and go home. There’s always something to fix or a new problem to solve, but that’s just part of the job.
