Hotel Royal Castle Grand(Delhi)

This business goes by Hotel Royal Castle Grand Delhi, but our roots are actually back in Jharkhand. We operate through Aditya Kumar, who is the son of Sambhu Prasad. Our main point of contact is over in Tillaiya, near the Maheshra post office in the Hazaribag district. It’s quite a distance from the busy streets of Delhi, but that’s where the family is based. We’ve been handling things from here for a long time. Hazaribag is a different world compared to the big city, much slower and more relaxed. We manage the hotel affairs from our home base because it's where we have our documents and history. It's a family-run operation through and through. We don't have a big staff of corporate managers, just us making sure the bills are paid and the bookings are sorted out. Sometimes the mail takes a few extra days to reach us out here, but we’ve learned to be patient. We use a lot of handwritten ledgers and simple folders to keep track of things. It might seem a bit old-fashioned to some, but it works for us. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do right by the name and keep the business going for the next generation. It’s a lot of responsibility but we take it one day at a time. It is just how we do things.
