Divy Seva Foundation

Divy Seva Foundation is based in a place called Dandadih, over in Jainagar. You can find us through Teteari Devi and Prayag Das, as it’s basically run from our family connection. Jainagar is a small spot and Dandadih is even smaller, so everyone kind of knows everyone else. We aren't some big organization from the city. We are local people through and through. Our office is just a room in a building that has seen better days, but it works for us. We don't have air conditioning or fancy revolving chairs. We just have a table and the will to help our neighbors. Most of the time, we are out in the village talking to people rather than sitting behind a desk. We don't have a website with lots of buttons or a social media manager. We just use our hands and our time. Life in Jharkhand isn't always simple, and we know the struggles people face around here because we face them too. We aren't trying to be heroes. We just think that if you have a little bit of something, you should share it with those who don't. That is how we were raised. If you’re ever passing through Dandadih, you’ll probably see us. We’re just a small group of friends and family trying to do something decent for the community without making a big song and dance about it.
