Anshraj Engicon is a small operation based out of Harila village, right near the Barhi post office in Hazaribagh. Being in a village means we know most of our neighbors and everyone knows what we’re up to. We handle engineering and construction tasks, which means we spend a lot of time out on various sites around the district. Our office is a simple place where we keep our records and meet up before heading out for the day. It’s not a corporate headquarters by any means. We started this because Barhi is growing and there’s always a need for someone who knows how to handle the technical side of building. Most of our days start early, before the sun gets too hot, and end when the light fails us. Dealing with the paperwork for a private limited company can be a headache sometimes, but it’s necessary for the work we do. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find us here in Harila. The roads are a bit narrow coming into the village, but it’s a quiet place to get our planning done. We focus on the practical side of things, making sure the measurements are right and the materials are what they should be. It’s just a straightforward business run by local people who care about the work they do in their own community.
