The Monarch Hotel

This place is run by Samapan Roy and Subarna Roy over here in Kedla Nagar. We are located right at 9 (K.O.C.P.) in the Hazaribagh district. It is a quiet enough spot in Jharkhand if you know where to look. We started this because there wasn't much else around for people staying in this part of town. The building is simple and we try to keep things clean and tidy for whoever comes by. Sometimes the weather in Hazaribagh gets a bit dusty, so there is always sweeping to do. We don't have a huge staff or anything, just a few of us making sure the rooms are ready. It is more like a family-run thing than a big chain. We've got our routine down now. You'll find us mostly dealing with the daily chores or talking to people who are just passing through for work. It's not a luxury setup with gold taps, just a place to sleep and wash up. We put the address as Po.-Kedla Nagar because the mail sometimes gets lost if you don't. Being in Jharkhand, we get a lot of locals and some people from out of state too. We don't spend much on advertising because word of mouth usually works for us. Just a regular hotel for regular people who need a bed for the night after a long day of travel.
