Kshitij Hospital

You can find Kshitij Hospital out on the Patna-Ranchi Highway, right near the Konar Bridge. It’s a bit of a trek if you are coming from the city center, but since we are right on NH-33, a lot of people traveling between the two cities end up stopping here. The highway is always noisy with those big trucks rumbling past at all hours of the night. It gets quite dusty too, because of the bridge construction and all the wind blowing off the road. The building stands out a bit because there isn't much else right next to it. We have a bit of space around the entrance where people park their bikes or wait for the bus. It’s a practical sort of place. We don't have fancy decorations or art on the walls. It’s mostly just white walls and functional furniture. To be honest, the commute for the staff is a bit long, but we’ve gotten used to the highway life. When it rains, the area near the bridge gets a bit muddy, so we spend a lot of time mopping the entrance. We aren't trying to be the biggest hospital in the state. We just serve the folks who live along this stretch of the road and the travelers who get stuck. It’s a simple life out here on the highway, away from the main town bustle.
