Happy Event Management

Getting up to our office on the second floor can be a bit of a workout since we are located right above the Slim N Fit Gym. You can often hear the weights clanking and the music thumping from downstairs while we are trying to talk about wedding decorations or birthday parties. Being on Kali Bari Road means there is always a lot of activity outside, and being right above the Bank of Baroda makes it easy to give people directions. The office is usually filled with samples of fabrics, some old flower arrangements that need tossing, and stacks of notebooks where we keep track of dates. It is not the most organized looking place because we are always moving things around for the next big event. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook when it’s wedding season and other times it is quiet enough to actually get some cleaning done. We spend a lot of time on our feet, running from one venue to another, so the office is mostly a place to sit down for a minute and drink some tea. The stairs are steep and the hallway is a bit narrow, but it works for us. We have been here for a while and the neighbors all know us by name now. It’s a lot of work coordinating stuff, but we just take it one day at a time and try to make sure everything gets where it needs to go on the right day.
