Gul Mohor Public School

Gul Mohor Public School is out on Barkagaon Road in Hazaribagh. The road itself is usually busy with people traveling between towns. The school sits back a bit from the main noise. We have a few trees around the property, including some that give the school its name when they bloom. The building is a simple two-story structure with a paved area in the middle. We have been operating here for several years now. The morning starts with the sound of the school gate being opened and the buses pulling in. We have classrooms that get plenty of light during the day. It is not a very quiet place because the sound of the traffic from Barkagaon Road always carries a bit. We spend our days teaching the regular subjects and making sure the kids are behaving. The staff room is small and we usually have our lunch there while grading papers. We don't have a lot of extra decorations or expensive equipment. It is just a place for the children in Hazaribagh to come and do their studies. Sometimes we have to deal with the dust from the road or the monkeys that come onto the roof. The staff and the kids just take it all in stride. It is a basic, hardworking school where we focus on the daily tasks and getting through the school year without too much fuss. Every day is pretty much the same here, but we like the routine.
