Our business, Sri Laxmi Enterprises, is located at 23/163 in the A P M C Yard over in Byadagi. If you know anything about Byadagi, you know the A P M C Yard is the heart of everything, especially with the chili trade. We’re right in the middle of all that action. The shop isn't fancy—it’s a practical space meant for business. There’s a lot of dust and noise from the trucks coming in and out, but that’s just how it is in the yard. We’ve been operating from this spot for a long time, dealing with the daily bustle of the market. Our days start very early, usually before the sun is even fully up, because that’s when the yard is most active. We handle a lot of paperwork and keep track of things moving through the gate. It’s a lot of manual work and staying on your feet all day long. We don’t have air conditioning or fancy furniture, just some sturdy desks and chairs and a lot of ledgers. People here know us, and we know them. It’s a community built on years of being in the same spot. Sometimes the market is slow, and other times it's chaotic, but we stay consistent. We just do our part in the bigger picture of the Byadagi market. It’s an honest way to make a living and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep our heads down and work until the day is done.
