Our place is on Halageri Road in Ranebennur. We are on the first floor of plot number 11, right across from the KEB Grid. It’s a good spot because the landmark makes it easy to tell people where we are. We handle chit funds here. It is just a regular office with some desks and people working. Sometimes the noise from the road comes in, but we are used to it by now. Ranebennur is our home and we’ve been here for a long time. The office at No 26 B isn’t too large, but it fits what we need. We spend our mornings sorting through papers and talking to the people who come up the stairs. It’s a lot of manual work, checking names and numbers. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on being here and doing the work. If someone asks where we are, we just say 'opposite the KEB Grid' and they usually know. It’s a straightforward way of living. We see the same faces quite often. The first floor gets a bit warm in the summer, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world, just running a chit company the way it’s always been done. Most days we are just busy with the small details of the business. We keep the registers updated and make sure the entries are correct.
