Riva

Our place, Riva, is located at 33/1-2 Waghdara Road. We’re right near the Daman Ganga River in Dadra. Being in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli means we have a bit of a different pace than the big cities like Mumbai. The river is close enough that you can feel a breeze sometimes, which is nice when it’s humid and the sun is out. We do our manufacturing work here in a building that’s seen a lot of seasons. It’s a straightforward operation. We have the machines running most of the day and a small office off to the side for the paperwork and the phone. The road can get a bit muddy when it rains heavily during the monsoon, but that’s just part of being out here. We have a crew of local workers who have been with us for years. We know each other's families and how everyone likes their tea in the morning. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren’t used to the area, but we like the spot. We make our products and ship them out to different parts of the country. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the address on Waghdara Road. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the sound of the equipment running. We just focus on making things that work and keeping the business running year after year.
