Renuka Rice Mill

You will find Renuka Rice Mill over on YB Road in Mundgod. We are situated in the Uttar Kannad district, and our spot is quite close to the Gram Panchayat. Being near the local government office makes it easy for people to give directions to our place. The mill is a busy spot, especially when it is the right season for rice harvest. There is a lot of noise from the hullers and the various machines we use to process the grain. The air usually smells like dried husks and fresh rice. We get farmers coming in with their tractors and carts full of paddy. It can get pretty crowded in the yard during those times. We aren't a corporate setup with a lot of rules or a fancy lobby. It is more about getting the rice cleaned and packed so it can be moved out to the markets. We have a few staff members who have been with us for years. They know the machines better than anyone. Sometimes the dust gets a bit heavy, but that is just how a rice mill is. We keep the gates open early in the morning so the arrivals can start. It is a local operation through and through. We don't spend money on fancy signs or flyers. People just know where we are on YB Road and what we do. We just try to keep the machinery running smooth.
