National Fruit Agency

National Fruit Agency is located on the main Bangalore Road in Haveri. We are right near the Crovinera Pageripuna area, which is pretty easy to find if you know the town. We are also very close to the Pulish Tation, as people around here call it. Being near the Pulish Tation means there is always a lot of activity and vehicles moving around. Our business is strictly about fruit. We get crates in and we send crates out. It’s not a retail shop where you come to buy a single apple. It’s a busy agency where we deal with farmers and local sellers. The air always smells like whatever is in season, whether it's mangoes or bananas. The floor is usually covered in bits of hay and wooden crates. It is hard, physical work and we start very early in the morning before the sun is even fully up. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. We don't have a fancy office or any corporate stuff. Just some desks, big ledgers for the accounts, and a lot of space for the fruit. The Bangalore Road can get quite dusty and congested, but we’ve managed to stay in this spot for years. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in Haveri. We just focus on getting the fruit moved and making sure the quality is decent for our customers.
