Lakshmi Ice Cream & Cool Drinks

We are located at 224 on P B Road in Ranebennur. It's a good spot because there's always traffic passing through on the way to other places. We serve ice cream and various cool drinks. When it’s hot outside, this road gets very dusty and dry, so people like to stop for a minute to rest. The shop has been here for a good number of years. It’s nothing too big, just a few tables and the big coolers. I usually run the place with my brother. We get a lot of bus passengers and truck drivers who need a break from the road. We also have people from the local neighborhood who come in during the evenings. P B Road can get quite loud at night with all the heavy vehicles. We keep the drinks cold and the ice cream ready. We don't have a fancy menu or anything. It's just the usual stuff that people like. Sometimes we run out of certain flavors, but we try to restock as fast as we can from the supplier. It’s a simple life running a shop on the main road. We see a lot of different people every day. Most of them are just in a hurry to get somewhere else. We don't mind. We just keep the fridge running and open the shutters every morning. The traffic never really stops, but we get used to the sound of it.
