Kalghatgi Hospital

Kalghatgi Hospital is right here on Pinto Road. It's been in this spot for a while now, and I guess most people around here know the building. It’s not a huge place, really, but we keep things moving as well as we can. The mornings are usually the busiest time of the day. You often see folks waiting outside on the pavement before we even get the doors open. Pinto Road gets a lot of traffic, so there is always a bit of noise from the cars and trucks coming in through the front. We have some benches in the waiting area for people to sit. They aren't new by any means, but they do the job just fine. The floors get mopped every couple of hours because people bring in a lot of dust and dirt from the road outside. Most of our staff lives nearby in the neighborhood. Some walk to work and others take the bus or a cycle. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything like that, just the one out front that’s been there forever. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit when the heavy trucks go by, which is just something we are used to. It’s a normal hospital. We deal with whatever comes through the door. If you’re looking for us, just head down Pinto Road and look for the gate. It's usually open during the day. We try to keep the fans running when it gets hot.
