Gem Sugars

Gem Sugars is located out on Hutgar Road in Hulekal, specifically at 5-3253. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but this is where the work happens. We handle sugar, which is a lot more complicated than it looks on a kitchen table. Our days are tied to the seasons and the trucks coming in from the fields. It’s a dusty, busy environment most of the time. We don't have a fancy reception area. Usually, you’ll find us near the loading docks or checking the bags. It’s a practical business. We focus on getting the product out to where it needs to go. Sometimes the machinery is loud and the weather makes things difficult, but that is part of the life here. We’ve been part of this community for a while now. The locals know where we are. We don't spend money on big ads or shiny signs. Most of our work comes from long-standing relationships with people who know we just do our job. It’s not a glamorous life, but it is honest work. We keep the gates open during the day and keep moving. If you happen to be driving down Hutgar Road, you’ll see us. We’re just regular people trying to run a steady operation in a quiet part of the country. We don't need much else besides a good harvest and some working trucks to keep things going.
