Eid Parry Ltd

Hullatti is a quiet village near Haliyal. We are Eid Parry Ltd at 23-89. Most of our days are spent watching the sugarcane trucks come in. It gets dusty. The sun is hot here. We've been in this spot for a while now. Some days it's just the sound of the machines. The guys working here mostly live nearby. We don't have fancy lobbies. Just a desk and some files. It's a lot of work when the season is peak. You see people from all over the village stopping by. Sometimes the tea man comes around twice if we are busy. We try to keep things moving. There isn't much to say about us other than we handle sugar. It's what we do. Haliyal is a small place but the work keeps us going. The walls need a bit of paint, but that’s how it goes. We deal with the farmers every morning. They bring their loads and we weigh them. It’s a repetitive cycle but it’s how things run. You get used to the smell of the raw cane after a few weeks. It’s not a glamorous job, just a steady one. We make sure the paperwork is done, though it piles up fast on the small table we have. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait. That's life in the village. It is what it is.
