Coffee Day

This Coffee Day is located at 4-5-21 on Honnavar Road in Indira Nagar. It’s one of those places that people just use as a landmark when they are giving directions. We’ve got the usual setup with tables and chairs and the smell of coffee hanging in the air all day. It’s a pretty straightforward operation. We open up early, get the machines warmed up, and start serving whoever walks through the door. Indira Nagar is a busy area, so there is always someone coming or going. We see a lot of students and people who work in the nearby shops. It’s not a place for a fancy dinner, just somewhere to sit for twenty minutes with a cup of something hot. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, or a table wobbles a little, but we fix things when we can. We aren't trying to change the world here. We just want to make sure the coffee is hot and the place is clean enough for people to feel comfortable. It’s a lot of routine work, cleaning filters and wiping down counters, but it's what we do. If you are walking down Honnavar Road, you’ll see us there. We are just a regular part of the neighborhood, doing what we do every day without much fuss or bother.
