Soft Drink & Menral Water

My shop is called Soft Drink & Menral Water. We’re right on G.T Road in Hathras. If you are near the bus stand, you can’t miss us. It’s a busy spot with all the buses coming and going. I mostly sell water bottles and different kinds of soft drinks. People are always thirsty when they get off the bus, especially in the summer. G.T Road is always loud with horns and traffic, but we are used to it by now. The name on the board might be simple, but it tells you what we have. Sometimes I run out of change, which is a bit of a pain for the customers. I try to keep the crates stacked neatly, but it’s hard when it’s a busy afternoon. Hathras is a good place to be. We have been here for a bit. It’s just a small room filled with drinks and a couple of coolers. I spend most of my day sitting here, watching the road. It gets dusty being so close to the main road, so I have to wipe down the bottles quite often. It’s not a fancy business, just a way to make a living. Most of the regulars are the bus drivers and conductors who need a quick break. We don’t do anything special, just keep the water cold and the sodas ready for whoever walks in.
