Being a farmer producer company, the whole idea is to bring the local farmers together so we can all do a bit better with our organic produce. It's not a corporate setup with a receptionist; it’s more like sitting on a porch and discussing the season’s harvest. Mathura Shankar Garhi is a place where agriculture is the main thing everyone talks about. We spend a lot of time visiting different farms in the area and talking about how to switch away from the expensive chemicals. It’s a lot of meetings under the shade of a tree or at Samundra Singh’s place. We aren't professional writers or marketing experts, we just know how to grow things and how to help each other out. The "Atul" in our name is a bit of a point of pride, but the "Farmer" part is what we actually are. Every day is different depending on what needs planting or harvesting. Sometimes we have a lot of paperwork to deal with for the company side of things, but we’d much rather be out in the dirt. We keep it simple and honest, focusing on the local land and the people who work it. It’s a small operation, but it means a lot to us here in the village.
