About Annapurna Swarojgar Foundation – Charity & Non Profit Organisations in Hathras
If you are looking for us, we are out in Gadakhera village in Sasni. Specifically, we are at the place belonging to Nihal Singh, who is Sawal Sahai’s son. It is a very local spot, right in the heart of the village life. Annapurna Swarojgar Foundation isn't based in a shiny glass building or anything like that. We operate out of a traditional house where the doors are usually open to let the breeze in. There is always someone around, maybe sitting on a charpai outside or working at the small desk we have set up inside. The village is small enough that most people know where the office is if you ask around. We handle a lot of the foundation's business right there in the courtyard or the front room. It’s a practical way to do things because we are right where the people are. Sometimes the goats or cows from the neighbor's yard make a bit of noise, but that’s just how it is in Gadakhera. We keep our records in simple folders and use a basic computer for the important stuff. It is a humble setup but it serves us well enough. We don't need a lot of fancy equipment to get through the daily chores. The sun hits the front porch nicely in the mornings, which is when we usually get the most work done. It’s just us doing our bit in Sasni.
