You can find us over in Bulandshahr at 595/18, Laxmi Nagar. We are right in the Civil Lines area, which is a decent part of town to be in. Our focus is on dance and art, which is what Nritya Kala is all about. It’s a private company, but it feels more like a small school or a workshop most days. We have people coming in to learn traditional stuff and some newer things too. The floor sees a lot of use, that’s for sure. We started this because there weren't many places around here for people to practice their art. The building is just a regular one in Laxmi Nagar, nothing that stands out too much from the outside. Inside, it’s a different story with all the music and movement. We don't have a big fancy website or a bunch of recruiters. People just find out about us and show up. Sometimes the classes are full and it gets a bit hot, but everyone keeps going. We are just a small team trying to keep the local culture alive in our own way. Bulandshahr is home for us, and being in the 203001 area makes it easy for folks to drop by after work or school. We don't put on airs. We just open the doors, turn on the music, and get to work. It’s a simple life focused on the arts and we like it that way. Most evenings the sound of the bells on the dancers' feet can be heard from the street.
