Yelamma Dasappa Hospital

Yelamma Dasappa Hospital is located at No 53 Kuvempu Road in Vidya Nagar. It’s a pretty busy spot, and there’s always something going on around here. The hospital isn't one of those glass-and-steel buildings you see in the city center. It’s a more practical, older building that’s seen a lot of people over the years. We have several floors, and the hallways can get a bit crowded when it’s visiting hours. The paint in some of the rooms is a bit faded, but we keep everything clean. There’s a lot of noise from the street sometimes, with the traffic on Kuvempu Road, but you get used to it after a while. We have different wards and a busy emergency entrance. It’s a lot of work keeping everything running, from the nurses' station to the pharmacy. We don't spend money on fancy lobby furniture or art. We’d rather just make sure the beds are ready and the equipment is working. People come here because they know we’ve been in Vidya Nagar for a long time. It’s a local hospital for local people. Sometimes the elevators are slow, so most of us just take the stairs. It’s just a regular, working hospital trying to do its job every day. There’s no big secret to it, we just show up and do what needs to be done for whoever walks in. It is a long day for most of the staff here.
