Located right on B M Road in Tanniruhanna, our college and hospital is a bit of a landmark for people traveling that way. Because we are on the main road, we get a lot of walk-in patients who see our sign while they are passing by on their way somewhere else. It’s a mix of a learning environment and a place for actual healing. We have students everywhere, which can make things feel a bit crowded in the hallways sometimes, but they are all here to learn Ayurveda the right way. The hospital part of the building stays busy with people coming for various traditional treatments. It’s a lot of manual work, preparing the oils and the herbal mixtures we use every day in the clinic. We don’t have those polished corporate offices you see in the big cities. Instead, we have practical rooms and spaces where students can watch the practitioners and learn by doing. The noise from B M Road is always there in the background, but we’ve mostly gotten used to it after all this time. We try to keep things organized, though with so many students and patients coming and going, it can be a real challenge. People come to us because they want a different approach to their health, and we do what we can to provide that. It is a long day for most of us, starting early and finishing late, but that’s just how it is.
