Saragur Natural Products Impex is located at No. 65/1 in Sharagur. This is part of the Arakalgud Taluka, so we are quite a bit away from the big city noise. Our place is more like a warehouse and a small office combined. We spend a lot of time looking at different raw materials that come in from the local farms and fields around here. It’s very quiet in Sharagur, which I like. The air is better than in the city. We have a few rooms where we process and sort through the natural items we deal with. It’s not a high-tech factory. We use our hands a lot and have some basic machines. My cousin and I started this because we wanted to work with what grows locally. The walls are painted a dull yellow and we have some old wooden tables for our paperwork. Sometimes the internet is slow because we are in a rural spot, so we have to go outside to get a good signal on the phone. We get people visiting from the Taluka office occasionally for some paperwork. The roads around here are a bit bumpy, especially after the monsoon. We don't have a big marketing team. It’s just us and a handful of workers from the village who know the land well. We just take it one day at a time and see what needs doing. It is honest work and keeps us busy throughout the year.
