We are located at 11 Gorur Road in Hanumanthapura. If you come by this way, you’ll see the big gates and the trucks lined up outside waiting to be loaded. Nkg India Coffee isn't a small cafe or a shop; it’s more of a working warehouse and office where we handle large amounts of coffee beans. The air around Hanumanthapura usually smells like raw green beans or the heavy scent of roasted ones, depending on what we are doing that day. Inside, it’s quite noisy with the sounds of forklifts and people calling out weights and numbers. We have huge stacks of jute bags everywhere, and you have to be careful where you walk so you don't trip. It’s a busy operation, and we don't have much time for sitting around. The office part is just a few desks with computers and a lot of paperwork scattered about. We spend our days coordinating with the farms and the buyers, making sure the shipments go out on time. The floors are hard concrete and the lighting is just basic overhead bulbs. It’s not the kind of place people visit for fun, but it’s where the real work happens. We take our jobs seriously and just focus on moving the coffee through the system. It’s a lot of lifting and counting, and by the end of the shift, everyone is usually pretty tired.
