Over here on B.M Road in Hassan, Mfar Constructions Pvt Ltd is tucked away near the H.C.M.P.S.U building. It’s a bit of a specific spot, but we’ve made it our home for the construction work we do in this region. The office is pretty basic, mostly just a place for us to handle the paperwork that comes with building things. We deal with the local climate and the logistics of getting materials to sites that aren't always easy to reach. It’s a lot of phone calls to truck drivers and checking on the progress of the laborers. We don't use much corporate lingo because it doesn't really help get a wall built or a roof finished. We just talk plain and try to solve problems as they come up. Construction in Hassan has its own set of challenges, from the rain to finding the right skilled help when we need it. Our desks are usually cluttered with site diaries and technical drawings. We take the work seriously, but we don't feel the need to dress it up. It’s about the bricks and mortar at the end of the day. If someone stops by, they’ll probably find us mid-conversation about a delivery or a deadline. We just keep our heads down and try to do a decent job on every project we take on. It keeps us busy and out of trouble, most of the time anyway.
