Me-Riise Foundation

Our base is in Hassan, specifically at P.B. No. 21 on Salagame Road. Being in a place like Hassan is different from being in the big city. Things move a bit slower, and people actually know each other. Me-Riise Foundation isn't a big, polished operation. We work out of a space that's seen better days, but it serves us well enough. Most of our work involves the local community and people coming in from the surrounding areas. Salagame Road is a busy stretch, so there's always something going on outside our door. We spend a lot of time writing letters, making phone calls, and just listening to what folks have to say. It’s not always easy, and sometimes the paperwork piles up higher than we’d like. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall; we just have a calendar and a list of things to do today. We are regular people, and we speak like regular people. We have families and hobbies outside of this, but when we’re here, we focus on the foundation. It’s a practical way to live. We’ve been at this address for a while, and the locals know where to find the post box if they need to reach us. We don't need any fancy titles or big speeches. We just keep our heads down, stay at our desks, and try to be helpful to whoever walks through. Hassan is our home and we like it here.
