Mallikarjuna Coffee Work

Belur is a place with a lot of history, and we are lucky to be right on Sri Channakeshava Temple Road. Our shop at 24 1-4 is a humble little spot. Mallikarjuna Coffee Work is really about the daily grind, literally. We spend most of our time dealing with coffee in its various stages. Being so close to the temple means we see a lot of people passing through, especially on festival days when the whole road is packed with visitors. The shop itself is old and has a lot of character, maybe some would say it needs a bit of paint, but we like it the way it is. We are not a big fancy brand. We are just a local family-run kind of thing where everyone pitches in. You can hear the machines running from the street. We do not have a website or a big social media page. Most people find out about us just by walking past and catching the scent of the coffee. We use old scales and simple packaging because it works. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to move everything back from the doorway. We talk to the pilgrims and the locals alike. It is a simple life here in Belur. We just focus on our daily tasks and making sure the machines are kept clean. There is no corporate ladder here, just us doing the same work we have done for a long time.
