Kpwd

Our place is on Doddi Road in Hassan, specifically at number 5176, Sujanivas. It's a decent spot, not too far from the main parts of town but far enough to avoid the worst of the congestion. Kpwd is what we call ourselves, and we handle various local projects and tasks. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular office where we keep our maps and documents. We spend a lot of time talking to people and trying to figure out the best way to get things built or fixed. The roads in Hassan can be tricky, so we are always checking on progress. It is a lot of back-and-forth work. We start early most days because that's when it is coolest. There is usually a pot of coffee going in the corner. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just explain things as they are. Some days are stressful when deadlines are tight, but mostly we just take it one step at a time. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel with old chairs and stacks of paper everywhere. We know most of the people who walk by on Doddi Road. It's a community where everyone knows who is doing what. We just try to be useful and do the work that is expected of us by the end of the week. It’s a lot of mundane stuff but it matters to the people here. We don't ask for much, just a bit of respect and for the weather to stay clear while we are working outside.
