Himatsingka Linens

We are based out in Belur, Karnataka, right in the 573115 zip code area. It’s a beautiful part of the country, known for its history, but we’re here for the textiles. Himatsingka Linens has a big presence here. It’s a proper facility where we handle a lot of fabric and thread. The building is large and there’s always the hum of machinery in the background. It’s a busy place with people coming and going for different shifts. We don't really do the fancy showroom stuff here. This is where the actual making happens. We’ve got stacks of linens and cotton everywhere you look. It can get a bit warm inside when all the machines are running, but we’re used to it. The local people from around Belur make up most of our team. We’ve been a part of this community for a long time. It’s hard work, moving rolls of fabric and checking the quality of the weaving. We don't talk much about visions or missions. We just focus on getting the orders ready on time. The trucks come in the morning to pick up what we’ve finished. Sometimes the rain in Karnataka makes things a bit slow, but we keep at it. It’s a practical environment. We wear our work clothes and just get the job done. If you visit, you’ll see it’s a place that smells of fresh fabric and hard work.
