Our shop is located on the first floor, right above Vijaya Clinic on Shankarmutt Road. If you are walking along K. R. Puram, you just have to look for the stairs. It is a bit of a climb but we have been here for a while now. We spend most of our time making signs and boards for other local businesses. There is always a lot of scrap material lying around like bits of plastic and vinyl offcuts. The space is a little tight because we have several tables set up for cutting and pasting. Sometimes the smell of the adhesive is quite strong, so we keep the windows open. We are not a big corporation or anything like that. It is just us working on different projects every day. Some days we are busy with neon lights and other days it is just simple painted boards. We see a lot of people going to the clinic downstairs, and they often pop their heads in to see what we are making. The machines can be a bit finicky when it is humid, but we manage to get the work out eventually. It is a noisy street outside with all the traffic, but we are used to it by now. We just keep our heads down and finish whatever order is next on the list. There is no point in rushing things too much if you want the vinyl to stick properly.
