Operating out of the Belur Industrial Area means things are usually pretty loud around us. We are at unit number 13. It is a big space with high ceilings, which helps with the heat, but it still gets warm when the machines are all running. The Kiadb area is basically just rows of factories and warehouses. It isn't the most beautiful place to look at, but it's where the work happens. We spend our days checking the tanks and making sure the cleaning schedules are followed exactly. It’s a lot of stainless steel and concrete. Most of the staff live nearby and walk or bike in. The dust from the road outside gets everywhere if we don't keep the doors shut tight. Sometimes the power flickers, and we have to jump to make sure the cooling systems are okay. It’s just the daily grind of running a dairy plant in an industrial zone. We don't have a reception desk or a lobby for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the floor or in the small back office. It is straightforward work. We don’t do much else besides keep the production line moving. The trucks come and go at all hours of the night. It's a functional spot that does exactly what we need it to do for the dairy business. We keep a cooler with cold water for the drivers who arrive after a long haul.
