We are located right in Shop No. 16 at the APMC Yard in Channarayapatna. It is a busy place, especially in the mornings when the trucks start rolling in. Most of our time is spent checking loads and making sure the paperwork for the export and import side of things is sorted out. The office isn't very big, just enough room for a desk and some chairs where we sit with people who come by. It gets dusty because of all the activity outside, but that is just how it is in the yard. We have been working from this spot for a good while now. You can usually find one of us here from early morning until the sun goes down. We handle a lot of different goods, moving them from here to wherever they need to go. It is not glamorous work, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the traffic at the yard gate is a real mess, and we have to wait around for things to move. We just take it as it comes. There is a small tea stall a few doors down where we go when things quiet down for a bit. We don't have a big fancy team, just a few of us who know how the yard works and how to get things loaded onto the trucks without too much trouble. It is a straightforward life here in Channarayapatna, just doing our job every day.
