You can find Agarwal Tractor Syndicate over at Servay No 91 in Chipli Lingadhalli. We are right near the Sanjay Memorial Polytacnic Collage, which makes it easy for people to give directions to our place. Most of our days are spent surrounded by heavy metal and the smell of diesel. It’s a bit of a messy job, but someone has to look after the machines that the farmers use around Varadamoola. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly making sure the tractors are ready for the field. When the planting season is coming up, this yard gets really crowded. There’s usually a couple of us out back with grease on our hands, trying to get a stubborn engine to turn over. It’s not a quiet place, that’s for sure. We have a small office where we keep the paperwork, but you’ll usually find us out where the actual work is happening. Sometimes we sit out front and watch the traffic go by while having a tea break. We’ve been at this address for a while now and most of the locals know they can just drop in if they have a question. We don't go in for big advertisements or flashy signs. We just keep the tools clean and the gates open. It’s a straightforward life, helping people keep their equipment running so they can get back to their own work on the land.
