Abhishek Engineering Works

Abhishek Engineering Works has been sitting at Plot No - 158 B1 in the Belur Industrial Area for a good while now. Being in a KIADB zone means it’s mostly factories and trucks moving around all day. It’s dusty and loud, but that’s just how industrial areas are. Our shop isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we do our engineering work. We have a few machines that have seen better days but they get the job done. The guys here have been working together a long time. We know each other's habits. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit. It’s a long drive out here for some, but for us, it’s just the daily routine. We don't have a big office or anything. Just a desk with a lot of papers and some oily rags. Most people who come by are looking for specific parts or help with a machine. We don't do much talking unless it's about the work at hand. The shed gets hot in the afternoons, so we try to do the heavy lifting in the morning. It’s a practical way to live. We’ve been at this plot for years and the surrounding buildings have changed, but our gate stays the same. Just a bunch of us doing what we know how to do. There is always a lot of clanking metal sounds coming from the back.
