Aasrah Welfare Foundation

Our foundation is based in Chilkana, and we operate out of House Number 1579. It’s the residence of Sh Islam, who is the son of Mohd Akhter. The area is known as Mazar Hassan. It’s a very local, traditional part of the town. We aren't some big city firm with a glass office. Aasrah Welfare Foundation is just a humble setup where we handle our daily affairs. We’re located in the EDD-I section, and most people around Chilkana can tell you where the house is if you ask. The atmosphere here is very community-oriented. We spend a lot of our time just sitting and talking through what needs to be done. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in what we do, so our desks are usually covered in files and ledgers. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act like we're more important than we are. It’s just us, working in a space that’s been part of the family for a long time. The house is old but sturdy, and it provides a good roof over our heads while we work. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when people are out in the street, but that’s just life in Chilkana. We take things one day at a time and try to stay on top of our responsibilities. It’s a quiet way to live and work, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep moving along and doing what's necessary.
