Dooars Food India Opc Pvt. Ltd. is based out in the village of Kumargramduar. It’s a quiet spot, really. We are located near Madan Singh High School, so we see the kids walking by every morning and afternoon. Being in a village means things move a little slower than in the big cities, but we like it that way. It’s just how things are here. We started this as a one-person company because it was easier to manage that way. My cousins sometimes come by to help with the heavy lifting when we have a big shipment. The roads around here can be a bit rough during the monsoon season, so we have to plan ahead for that. We do our best to keep everything organized in our small workspace. It’s mostly just processing and packing what we get from local sources. We don’t spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork unless we absolutely have to. Most of the day is spent on our feet, making sure everything is handled right. People around Kumargramduar know us, and we know them. It’s a small community and we are just glad to have a place here. The school being so close makes it a landmark for anyone trying to find us for the first time. We just keep our heads down and do the work day in and day out. There isn't much more to it than that.
