If you’ve been to a wedding or a party around Ananthasagar or Hasanparthy, you might have seen our speakers or our lights. My name is Srikanth and I run this sound and decoration setup from my place at 3-109/1. It’s a lot of work hauling heavy equipment around, but I’ve been doing it for quite some time now. We handle everything from the music to making the venue look nice for whatever event is happening. It isn't just about playing songs; we have to make sure the wiring is right and nothing blows a fuse halfway through the night. The decoration part takes even longer, setting up the drapes and flowers and all that. We keep our stuff stored at the house and load up the van whenever there’s a booking. Sometimes we’re working late into the night at a function and then have to pack everything up before the sun comes even up. It’s tiring but it’s good to be part of people’s celebrations. We don’t use any fancy talk to describe what we do. We just bring the gear, set it up, and make sure everything runs the way it should. Most of our clients are neighbors or people from nearby villages who heard about us. It’s a local business and we like keeping it that way. We just do our work and head home.
