Safe

We operate out of House No. 495 in the New Housing Board Colony over in Sector 2. Being here in Rohtak, specifically the Huda area, means we’re right in the middle of a lot of new growth. Vijay Kalhera handles the safety scaffolding inspections, and we go by the name Safe. It’s a straightforward business. We spend most of our time out at construction sites checking that the pipes and boards are set up right so nobody gets hurt. Safety isn't something you can take shortcuts on, so we take our inspections pretty seriously. When we aren't at a site, we’re back at the house catching up on reports and making phone calls. The office is just a part of the home, which keeps things simple. We’ve seen too many accidents happen because someone was in a rush, so we try to be the eyes that catch those mistakes. Haryana has a lot of building going on right now, and it keeps us moving from one place to another. We don’t have a fleet of trucks or a fancy storefront. It’s just us and our tools and a lot of climbing up and down ladders. People in the colony know us as the safety folks. We’ve been doing this long enough to know what to look for at a glance. It’s a responsible job and we do it because it’s needed. We’re just glad to help keep the local work sites a bit more secure.
