Sri Balaji Traders

Down here on Hospet Road, you can find Sri Balaji Traders. We are pretty close to the SDM Bank, which makes it easy for people to find us in the Davangere district. My family and I have been around this area for quite some time. The shop is number 317. It’s a typical trading spot. We have a lot of stuff coming in and out every day. Davangere is a busy place and Hospet Road is one of those stretches that never really stays quiet. We don't bother with fancy decorations. The walls are plain and the floor is concrete because we move a lot of heavy goods. Being near the bank is helpful because people use it as a landmark. It’s just honest work. We wake up, open the shutters, and start the day. There’s always dust from the road and the sound of horns, but you get used to it. We aren't some big chain. It's just a local trade business. Sometimes we have tea with the guys from the nearby shops. It’s a community. We know the regulars who pass by on Hospet Road. We don't talk much about visions or stuff like that. We just focus on the items we have in stock and making sure people get what they came for. It’s a practical way to live. Davangere is home and this shop is where we spend our lives. We just keep doing what we do.
