Bihar Food & Feed Supply

We are situated on Andigula Road and you can usually find us because we are right near the private school which makes the mornings very loud with all the parents and kids. We handle food items and also stuff for animals which means the warehouse smells a bit like hay and grain most of the time. The building is a simple structure and we don't have any big signs or bright lights to show people where we are. Usually people just know to turn off the main path to find us when they need supplies for their livestock or their kitchens. It gets quite busy after the school bells ring because the road gets blocked up with cycles and rickshaws. We have been working out of this space for a while and the roof leaks a little bit in the corner when the monsoon hits hard. I usually sit at the wooden desk near the front door to keep track of who comes in and what they take with them. We don't use any fancy computers for our records we just use the old ledgers because that is how we learned to do it. The workers are mostly guys from the village who know how to handle the heavy lifting without complaining much. It is a decent way to make a living and we are glad to be part of the neighborhood even if it gets a bit chaotic sometimes.
