Urjit Nidhi Limited is located at House Number 383 in the Chawmandi area of Roorkee. Chawmandi is a lively part of town, and being right here in Haridwar district keeps us pretty busy. Our office is set up in a way that feels very accessible. We aren't hidden behind some big corporate desk. You just come in and you can see us working on the accounts right there. We started this because we wanted a place in Roorkee where common people could come without feeling intimidated. A lot of folks around here work hard for their money, and they want a safe place to keep it or a simple way to get a small loan. We try to provide that without any of the extra fluff. The room can get a bit warm in the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay focused on the numbers. We don't use any fancy sales pitches. If you have a question, we just give you a straight answer. Most of our day is spent writing in registers and checking the computer. It is steady, quiet work for the most part. We have grown to know the residents of Chawmandi well over the years. We are just local people working for other local people, and that is how we like to keep things.
