Traymbhkam Tour & Travels

We set up shop at number 6 inside the Hotel Ashoka building. It’s right across from the railway station in Haridwar, so it's easy to find if you've just stepped off a train. Being this close to the station means we see a lot of people who are tired and just want to get to their next stop without a lot of fuss. We handle taxi bookings and help folks plan their trips out to the various temples and hill stations. It gets very loud around here with the trains and the rickshaws, but we’re used to the noise. We aren't some big travel agency with a glass building. It's just a small shop where we keep our registers and wait for the next train to pull in. We know most of the people working around the station, so we hear about delays or road closures pretty fast. If someone wants to see the evening aarti or head up to the mountains, we just arrange the vehicle and get them on their way. We don't do fancy brochures or polished sales pitches. We just give people the facts about the travel times and the costs. Sometimes things are a bit chaotic when the station is packed, but we try to keep our end of things organized. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. There's always tea brewing if you need a minute to sit down.
