Jivamrit Organic Farmer Producer Company is based in the village of Sherpur Khelmow, which is part of the Jhabrera Tehsil. We are right in the heart of the farming community here. Unlike a big city office, our place is surrounded by fields and open sky. We work with the local farmers who are trying to grow things the organic way. It is a cooperative effort, so you will often see people from the village sitting around our place talking about their crops or the weather. We have some storage for the grains and produce that the farmers bring in. It’s a very local operation where everyone knows each other by name.
